The Gen 2 design features an improved baseplate mechanism, resulting in firmer detents for three distinct open positions. For added security, a nickel-plated stainless-steel snap fastens the shield firmly to the helmet shell, ensuring it stays in place during high-speed transit. Maintenance and Compatibility:

To preserve the anti-fog and photochromic properties, do not use household cleaners or petroleum-based chemicals. Clean the shield using only mild soapy water and a lint-free microfiber towel. Please note: These shields are compatible with all standard Gringo S models but will not work with ECE R22.06 Gringo S or Gringo SV helmets due to updated closure systems.
