The Cusco Battery Tie Down replaces the factory battery hold-down strap/fixture with a more robust, billet-aluminum clamp, helping ensure the battery stays firmly seated under acceleration, braking, or cornering. This reduces the risk of the battery shifting — which could stress terminals, wiring, or even lead to a short if the battery contacts metal. This is especially relevant for occasional spirited driving, track days, or stanced/aggressive driving.
