If you want to add any performance to your GM 6.2/6.5 Diesel, we highly recommend using our High Tensile Main Stud Kit to drastically reduce the chance of main web cracking.
The highest rated tensile strength 6.2/6.5 main stud kit on the market, this kit is rated for use beyond 220,000 psi tensile strength, far greater than ARP’s standard stud which utilizes 8740 grade material rated only up to 180,000-210,000 psi, and even greater than ARP 2000 grade kits which are only rated up to 200,000-220,000 psi meaning these studs can handle more torque, more cylinder pressure and more power before yielding than any other kit on the market.

*For 1997.5 and later engines, check your block casting number to see if its still a 599 block. If it is a 599 block this kit will work
*This kit will not fit 506 blocks, as they would require (6) 10mm studs.
