Overview

HKS Grommet Type Head Gasket for the GR Corolla G16E-GTS Engine. With pushing more horsepower and boost, many people will eventually experience the issue of head gasket failure. To address this, HKS is pleased to announce the release of a new grommet type head gasket which takes things a step further than the existing stopper type gaskets. HKS utilized and designed specifically to handle the boost pressure up to 200kPa (2kg/cm2) maintaining the surface pressure and preventing gas leakage.

Features

• It improves the sealing limit by securing the surface pressure of the gasket sealing surface by employing the grommet structure.
• It put the shims at either end of the engine deck to apply the load evenly when tightening the head bolt to prevent the distortion of the cylinder head.
