Developed as part of HKS’s Type-S aerodynamic body kit, these spats are designed to enhance both the appearance and aerodynamic performance of the vehicle while seamlessly integrating with the factory rear bumper and diffuser.
Using advanced aerodynamic analysis and 3D CAD modeling, HKS engineered the rear bumper spats to help manage airflow around the rear corners of the vehicle. This optimized airflow contributes to improved stability during high-speed driving and braking, while also helping maintain balanced handling characteristics. The subtle yet purposeful design visually extends the factory diffuser area, giving the GR Corolla a more aggressive and track-focused rear profile.
Constructed from durable FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic), the spats are supplied in a primer finish and require painting prior to installation. They mount directly to the factory rear bumper using the included double-sided tape and hardware, allowing for a straightforward installation while maintaining a clean OEM-plus appearance.
